With all the attention and rah-rahs for Caitlyn Jenner, and I don't discredit what she is trying to do, there is a much more interesting and deeper show, Becoming Us on ABC Family/Disney of all places. Ryan Seacrest EP's the show and it tells how two different families deal with the very real issues concerning transgender parents in both families. It deals with spouses and children in a way you would not see on Kardashes tv. It's probably on demand. It may be reaching the end of the first season. Very intelligent and different point of view than Jenner's show on E.

I think it's legal to watch more than one transgender-themed show.

I watched the first two or three episodes, but lost interest. I didn't care for the young man...found him to be a real turn off.

I, too, have wondered why it wasn't being discussed here along with "I am Jazz", a series following a middle school transgender girl.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

I agree that the BU show is a bit harder to get into but I was glad to stick with it. I found the 3,4 transitioning adults and teens to be brave to share all this for a tv show.

Where is I Am Jazz? I haven't heard of that show.

Again, I understand how hard it is for CJ but she does have many advantages others don't. I thought it was graciousness and kindness, ( or an awakening in her), when she said she would pay for the one woman to go back to nursing school.

It went where you set it up to go, since you positioned it entirely in relation to I Am Cait, rather than just saying it was a good show that you enjoyed.

I thought I was simply mentioning another show with a similar theme. Then it went to abortion, a woman's right to choose...

I've been a member on BWW for quite sometime. I guess I'm not online here enough to know who is fighting with each other on just about anything, members that may seem sarcastic, or just people that seem negatively inclined or opinionated. (And I can take a joke too!)

Again, "Here a trans show, there a trans show, everywhere a trans show..."There's no right or wrong one
