I am sure this video isn't new, but it seems to be making the rounds on social media today. Still remember this moment like it was yesterday and LOVE this perspective in the tv trunk. There is something so exhilarating about it. Best final phrase spoken: "What a f*cking opening, man!"

Maybe add a "Gooding" to the title, Liza? I thought this was going to be about some tense geopolitical battle fought between the US and Cuba at the Academy Awards. Like everyone walking out of a Cuba Gooding Jr movie since 1997, I'm disappointed.
Man, has he had one of the most disappointing post-Oscar careers, or what? I know he's still making a living, but jeeze. I mean, he was just in a Pepsi commercial (shown during the Oscars) in which he was STILL uttering that daman "show me the money" line.

"It was actually from the 1997 ceremony (honoring the films of 1996)."
Then it is the 1996 Oscars. At least in my opinion that is how they should be labeled.
