Posted: 5/27/05 at 11:47pmOkay. So once I buy the Mini, what doodads come with it normally? And do I have to buy any additional thingies for my computer?

::sigh::
Mini = Smaller, more portable, smaller harddrive, different colors
Regular = A bit bigger, less portable (but still portable), HUGE harddrive, one color (except the U2 one)
Headphones, cord to your computer, and pouch I think is included. Including the instruction manuals, stuff like that.
You don't NEED anything extra, but stuff like hooking up the Mini to your stereo, a radio reception, a voice recorder, are all optional.

Those are just the song estimates that Ipod gives, go discuss it with them and while you are discuss the crappy warrantee they offer
And my question I guess then is what is the model of the 6GB?
And the battery lenths differ too 4GB mini is like 8 hours 20GB is like 12 hours

Mini.

The song size they use is 4MB, which is reasonable. I'd put that as around 128 kpbs. If it was 192 kpbs (CD quality), it'd be more closer to 800 songs. (5 MB)

Okay, so basically if I'm not going to be high maintenance, than everything I need comes with the iPod. *wipes bead of sweat from brow*
BluCat, you're a Best Buy-er, eh? My cousin works at one in Boston...I should see if he can give me a hook-up.

I quit after 5 months which explains my imperfect knowldge, I was in the MP3 player/ cell phone section however. and as far as Employee discounts go on ipod they sell them at cost because the market is so competitive and make their money off accessories and service plans. So thereis no employee discount on the Ipod but you'll save like 20 bucks on the 50 serice plan and maybe 10 on a thirty dollar case

Strangely, my cousin from Best Buy is currently trying to talk me out of getting an iPod. He said the regulars get sent back a lot, but the Minis area bit better.
And Elphaba, my love! I'm home! (Unfortunately.) Got back in a few nights ago!

Aigoo, be flattered that Elphaba mistook Brad Pitt's hooded mug for yourself! If you're gonna be a guy, looking like that ain't too shabby!
Elphaba, will do! Your advice was spot on!
