haha yes....is he gearing up for a new role? I will just say it he looked a little pudgy I was suprised. Nothing wrong with that but I was just suprised.

He did look bloated. He looked like a very different person. I wouldn't have recognized him right away had I not known he was hosting.

It wasn't as though he looked like he just gained some weight. He had a sickly, bloated look to him. That's ok, I still love him. I missed the first 20 minutes of the show but heard he had scene during a gay marriage skit where he kissed one of the male SNL cats and in his monologue said something about his relationship with Matt. What was the Ben Gay t shirt thing I've heard refrenced?

Well, I wasn't really thinking of his acting. i don't think he's a great actor, just nice to look at.

I know, it's tough to follow. Some actors get their fan base strictly by the fact that they are eye candy. Some are just great actors. A few are able to fall into both catagories. There are also all kinds of sub-divisions within the eye candy group. It's not easy being gay and having to know all this, follow all the rules of attraction, etc. For you hetero guys it's easier...if she's got a good rack she's hot.

eew, i don't think he is hot at all. or that great of an actor. he just gets on my nerves because he seems to thrive on being who he is. he and j-lo should have just stayed together and kept on living in their own little bubble world. yucky, ben. yucky.

I loved his monologue. haha with the shirts like bennifer, boprah, boyonce, ahahah thought that was great. He did rip on j.lo a lot.

I noticed the same thing about him looking different on the commercial. I stopped watching SNL in 1989, so I didn't see the actual episode. It used to be so fresh and original. It wasn't about being mean or junior-high toilet jokes. It's just not funny any more.

I agree with Shermanslave. I never could figure out what it is with Jennifer Lopez, and I certainly don't get Ben Affleck. The two of them are among the least interesting people I've never come across!

Someone told me he is bloated because he stopped drinking and was recently in rehab. I guess the changes that occur in the body when one stopd drinking cauases bloating fo a while?

Good reason not to quit drinking.

ITA shermanslave, I see nothing attractive about Affleck at all.

This SNL was so bad...even for the past couple seasons! The only funny sketch was the scene from Gigli, and only because of Fred Armisen.
