I don't know if we have any Ben Folds fans here, but his new album 'Way To Normal' comes out on Sept. 30th. I love the album, and the entire thing is posted here on his myspace. www.myspace.com/benfolds So you can check it all out for free without buying it. But please, buy it and support the guy. Personally, I think that it's his best solo album yet.
Check it out! Make sure you pick up the album too. He'll be in NYC on Sept. 30th and Oct. 1st. I'm going to the Oct. 1st concert, anyone else?

Posted: 9/23/08 at 5:25pmi'm a Ben Folds fanatic... but I can't say I LOVE the album yet... i've heard a few of the songs live and none really grab me like songs from previous albums have... I absolutely love Songs For Silverman and I think that Way to Normal is an interesting progression (if not regression) from it.

wow, this thread title made me think two things:
a) another poster has confused "to" and "too"
b) Ben pleats his path to average-ness.
Will: They don't give out awards for helping people be gay... unless you count the Tonys.

I know that he talks about it being Normal, IL in the song Effington. So like hey, there is the way to Normal, IL.
Anyway, it's a great album.

TXtwostep -- are you The Enchanted Hunter in disguise? Why the negativity? And who used "to" and "too" wrong - I read through the posts before yours three times and can't find it (unless it was edited...).
So what's everyone's favorite Ben Folds song? I'd have too go with "The Luckiest." I like "Fred Jones Part to" a lot two.

I still love the first album he did as The Ben Folds Five.
Produced for crap, but it has some sharp songwriting.

The album is friggin' great. the only song I don't really care for is Errant Dog. But other than that, it is a solid album, and a great progression for Him. I love the opening track, Hiroshima, and have been playing it relentlessly.

My favorite song on the album is Cologne. The 4..3..2..1...I'm letting you go part gets so stuck in my head!

I LOVE Ben Folds and I love this new album! My favorites off the new album are "Hiroshima," "The Frown Song, "Cologne," "The Bitch Went Nuts," and "Effington."

Love Ben Folds and need to check out his new album. Personally, my favorite song of his is "Fred Jones Part 2" but I love "Annie Waits" as well.
A little swash, a bit of buckle - you'll love it more than bread.
