A great actor who brought us the wonderful characters like Dr. Bombay from Bewitched and Colonel Crittenden from Hogan's Heroes is dead.  Why couldn't it have been Kirk Cameron?

Really. A man passes away and you think adding that you hope somebody else would die is a way to honor the deceased - wow. My only hope is that this is some lame attempt at humor.

When you compare that SF wants Kirk Cameron dead for saying some very stupid things and he mourns his beloved Fidel Castro who executed without trial 10s of 1000 citizens who simply disagree with him, it helps me understand SouthFlorida. He puts his Socialism ahead of human decency

Just a few of SF greatest hits

This guys life is too complicated to dismiss this way.  A saving grace of 2016, please, a 90 year old man dying is the saving grace of Donald Trump being our president?  Sad

So what?  He was 90 years old.  Did he make any real difference in your life?  The people in Miami are jumping in the streets.  Some of them victims of the regime, other escapees, and 90% of them born here, the offspring of the wealthy that had their privilege taken away, poor babies, like they haven't taken over Miami. Regarding his evil, let's not ever forget this was a country that was a legitimate try that was thwarted by the US at every turn

"And South Florida, with all due respect, I don't think there's anything complicated about a tyrant who flagrantly disregarded human rights and singlehandedly destroyed Cuba's economy. He was a villain and the world is better off without him."

Concierge, again the life of this guy is complicated, he did flagrantly deny civil rights, he was a dictator, he did hundreds if not more despicable acts.  He also was a person of wealth who fought for something he believed in, not to get rich, not for ****s and giggles, and his life is too complicated to discuss on these board

I got criticized for not holding a political conversation or whatever on another thread yesterday. The very reason I sometimes don't respond is because I recognize I'm trying to rationalize with asinine people like SF. Waste of my time.

More importantly, Rest In Peace, Mr. Fox. What a lovely career.

Yankeefan, I was sort of mocking both the who died today threads and the silly way Adamgreer was lashed out at because he wrote something not PC.  He didn't really mean it and then all the usual loser suspects came in to jab him/her whatever.  I did enjoy Bernard Fox in those shows, I think he was in The Longest Day. Seem to remember him being the guy who banged the tank with a cane.  Anyway, nobody wishes death on anyone, until yesterday I had no idea who Kirk Cameron was.  Regarding my statements on Cuba Petrocious, I stand by them.

Gotcha but it is hard to tell in print when somebody is mocking. I lashed at "adamgreer" because I thought his comment did not belong in a thread that was "honoring" a person who died. If he wants to make a non PC comment like he did then create his own thread and not subject the other one to being hijacked.

I don't need a safe place - lol. I thought I was just respecting someone's thread that wanted to honor a performer.  I assume most people when they create a thread they want replies to stay on topic. Obviously that does not always happen but it would be nice .
