Both Old Men & Blood list one of there filming locations as Marfa Texas

This has to be a first - 2 best picture nominees sharing the same filming location in the same year.

What other Best Picture Nominee from a previous year was filmed in Marfa? They were so nice to share "there" town.

Yep! Now:
What film that starred three Oscar winners (from different films) was set in Marfa?

Come Back to the Five and Dime, Jimmy Dean.

And the film (and play it is based on) is about fans of Giant visiting the site where the film was filmed, ie Marfa. So it's one big circle.

The first year that 2 best picture nominees were filmed in the same location?

Doubtful.

Well, next time maybe you should actually say what you mean.

Marfa is a great town and has become very neo-Bohemian. It's fun to see a lot of Houston actors playing small roles in both films.

Pretty douchbaggy of a response!

How many oscar winning films used the word "douchbaggy?

Frankly, my dear, I don't give a douche!

Censors wouldn't pass it. So he just flipped her off instead.

"And so the Douchebaggers invaded Atlanta and the South!"

They had to go and change it to Carpetbaggers.

Stupid censors.

Girls, girls!

I was wondering though, is this the year witht eh most women nominated in the screenplay category? There have been years with as many women nommed, but I think this is the most for solo female screenwriters--or is it?
