Taking a break from Palin... lets talk about your favorite albums of 2008 so far? I'm on a kick to discover new artists and groups. I have a good friend who's into indie rock and he's always sending me the names of new groups not many people have heard of that are really great! I love finding new music.
So... name some of your favorite albums of 2008 so far? Indie or mainstream...

R.E.M.'s "Accelerate" was a big, very pleasant surprise.
And of course Robyn's record.

Oh dear Lord! LOL
The Goo Goo Dolls Vol II has alot of B sides and things you wouldn't have heard before if you aren't an ardent fan. Plus a DVD with all their videos and 6 live performances. So if you like them (which I do) it's a must.

I also like the Madonna and Mariah Carey CD's. But haven't bought them yet.
Not a new recording but I just heard it this year and fell in love with it:
Dvorak: Symphonie No. 9 - Herbert von Karajan, and Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra
