America, that will air tomorrow morning, Tuesday, August 19th announced that she has been given a clean bill of health regarding her recent cancer scare, her test came back as she stated on the morning program, "Absolutely 100% cancer free".
Who writes these awful BWW.com press releases? Who edits them? Ugh.
Excellent news. I am thrilled for her, she is so talented and seems very sweet and humble. I can't wait to see more of her in SAMANTHA WHO?

her double mastectomy is all over the news.
but no where is it mentioned in the BWW News Desk.
A mastectomy is a very serious procedure. For most people with breast cancer, mastectomies are the last option they would take. It's kinda shocking to hear. I'm glad she is doing well though.

Posted: 8/21/08 at 2:43pmThere is a specific subset of Breast Ca that is genetic and very malignant. W a close relative such as her mother having the disease she was probably tested and found to have the genetic link. Bilat mastectomy is usually recommended in those cases. Hopefully next year she can have some reconstructive work. And kudos to her for continuing on w her life and work!
