Beyonce "I Am... Tour"

Last night (6.22.09) I watched the "I Am... Tour" at Madison Sqaure Garden and figured I would just post some thoughts being that this was her only her second show in America and people probably haven't heard that much about it.


It was amazing!

The warm up band (whose name I didn't even catch) was good but was just trying way to hard to be like Destiny's Child and the only downer was once they exited the stage Beyonce kept us waiting 45 minutes.

But once Beyonce was on she owned the Garden! She started with "Crazy In Love" where Jay-Z made a slight appearance and then went on to do about 15-20 songs over the course of a two hour show which featured songs from 1998 to today, several costume changes, dancers, flying through the Garden, and having a second stage in the center of the arena. Never in my life have I see such a nice and genuine performer, she interacted with the audience a lot and had conversations with people and even walked around shaking people's hands and took a moment to admire the fans signs and shirts out in the audience. But, what might have been the nicest thing is she found out there was a birthday in the audience so she even sang Happy Birthday for the person(s). The dancing was also amazing, I don't know how she does it- just phenomenal.

This was by far the best concert I have ever been to and she is just so real! If this show is by you, go see it! You won't regret it!

Also, the concert seemed to have been recorded last night.

And the whole segment where she kicks Perez Hiltons ass was great!

She really is divine and gives alot to fans when she performs. I also love that she has a real body and shakes that S#@t like it's nobody's business.
