I think Death Becomes Her needs two Mormon Wives lol

Liza memoir and promotion tour Mar 3 2026, 08:12:08 PM
“I'm going to take it as a good sign that Premiere Collectibles is sold out of signed copies of Liza's book. If those copies were autopen, there would be no reason for them to ever sell out. You can always fire up the pen and "sign" more.”
Thats not really how it works. An author typically signs a set number of “tip in” pages that are bound into books during pressing. The publisher agrees on a number (10,000) with the author and those are distr

Jennifer Lopez to Star in KISS OF THE SPIDER WOMAN Film Mar 1 2026, 12:17:08 AM
I respect what they were trying to do, but it all fell flat to me. Insert a cheap looking J Lo music video into the film every twenty minutes. God bless her, but she’s out of her element. She has no gravitas to play the duality of the character or bring any sense of dread or malevolence. I thought she and Diego Luna were pretty dreadful. Miscast. Tonatiuh was a revelation. Couldn’t save the movie though.
I loved the darkness and melancholy of the original

Jinx Monsoon to play Judy Garland in London production of END OF THE RAINBOW Feb 24 2026, 11:24:12 PM
I think the play itself is quite terrible. I liked Tracie’s performance but felt the text was seedy and tabloid fodder. I was surprised Jinkx who has a supreme reverence for Garland would attach herself. Maybe she’s the missing piece that can make the show work. I wonder if there will be any edits or rewrites.

Liza memoir and promotion tour Feb 22 2026, 01:47:22 AM
She notoriously cancelled appearances even when she was healthier. I thought this may get cancelled even if it sold well. If she doesn’t feel up to it, it’s not happening.
I also have a sneaking suspicion her signed books will be autopen. I’ll check the autograph message boards after they are released.

OH, MARY Reviews (2026 New) Feb 18 2026, 09:32:42 PM
I loved Morrison. Everything about his performance. The great thing about this show is the debates about casting and character choices. Makes it fun. Everyone is going to relate differently to actors. I don’t care for Harris at all but I don’t think she ruins the show. I’m glad some folks love her.
I’d actually like to see Kathryn Hahn as Mary. She was a trip in Boeing Boeing. She is a twisted trip as an actress.

It appeared on socials that they were fairly close at the time of both of the other runs, so I’m a little surprised. Doyle also seems to have scrubbed his profile of any traces of Sinatra. Makes me think there’s some bad blood."
That is really sad. It must hurt. Now he’s do

Sinatra the Musical - Update Feb 4 2026, 02:12:45 AM
I feel bad for Doyle. I saw him in concert in 2024 and he did two songs as Frank. He truly sounded fantastic and got me excited to see him in the show. He also told an anecdote about how Sinatra’s daughter, a producer, chose him for the role. She called him “our Frank” and welcomed him to the family. Showbiz is a tough business.

Will anyone ever drop the ball as Mary? So far everyone stepping into the role has been praised. I wonder if anyone will ever tank it?

OH, MARY! Reviews Oct 26 2025, 12:31:25 AM
Jane, John Andrew and Cheyenne were my favorite cast so far. I’ve seen Cole and Betty. Jane was less deranged than Cole or Betty but she made it her own. I loved her interpretation.
When I saw Cole and Betty I had a harder time understanding lines and jokes and the audiences loud laughter was stepping all over the dialogue. That didn’t seem to happen here. The audience was wild for the show and laughed their faces off but they didn’t seem as obnoxiou

I think Kathryn Hahn or Molly Shannon would be brilliant and would probably sell tickets.

Ben Platt & Rachel Zegler - THE LAST FIVE YEARS (NYC/LA) Feb 3 2026, 05:59:10 PM
Haven’t we had enough of that inert show that requires intimacy between actors and audience?
Let’s stage it in two enormous spaces. Sounds thrilling.
Im still hurting from the last flop.

Official: TITANIQUE to dock at the St. James, March 2026 (16 Weeks Only) Jan 8 2026, 11:35:37 AM
Marla is the reason to see this show. The “stunt”
casting does nothing but increase the budget. Cox is so lackluster and not a comedienne. I’d have preferred Missi Pyle.

THE QUEEN OF VERSAILLES To Close January 4, 2026 Dec 9 2025, 10:42:09 PM
This is a total aside but I thought of it since Kristin was just injured. It seems like she makes her curtain call entrance down the middle of the stairs in heels with no railing. I found this rather precarious and dangerous. Isn’t there something like an Equity OSHA that would forbid this. This tiny actress descending stairs without three points of contact. I was worried for her.
Even Sherie used the railing during her curtain call.

NYT: Jeremy O. Harris Is Arrested in Japan on Suspicion of Smuggling Drugs Dec 5 2025, 06:06:53 PM
He’s far from cooked. He thrives on provocative press. He's an enfant terrible who will work this once he’s out. His career is built on things like this. The big question is how accountable will he be held. I’m imagining one of his high profile friends can make some calls. He’s friends with Madonna, Rihanna and budding lawyer Kim K. They’re all in his phone. I sense he will rise from these ashes with more material.

Universal's WICKED Films - News & Discussion Thread Nov 24 2025, 02:02:32 AM
It seemed like her magic was limitless. It’s not clear. Can she deflect bullets? Can she knock all the soldiers over? If they are simply holding her can’t she blow them off her? I guess it’s not clear. Just a quibble. I still greatly enjoyed the film.

Overall, I enjoyed the film. I liked its darker tone.
My opinion on the weakest link is Yeoh. She wasn’t menacing enough for me. Not terrifying in her split personality. Many Morribles terrified me with their end of Act One proclamation. I think a Glenn Close or a Toni Collette would have been way better.
Also one thing I can’t get past. If Elphaba can levitate with Fiyero, couldn’t she have taken him with when she escaped the guards?!? Makes

THE QUEEN OF VERSAILLES Previews Oct 29 2025, 05:14:14 PM
It's a total puff piece. A backdrop comes down with the name and logo of the charity and Cheno discusses the charity. It feels really hokey and shilly. I thought they were about pass buckets around the audience. It completely took me out of the show.
The diary piece was definitely cut. Jackie must not like it.
As far as the mention that Cheno's energy seems low on Broadway, it makes total sense. She's carrying this show on her back. That's gotta be ex
