Big Brother 23

A lot of those behaviors stem from her Autism - which the houseguests seems to be pretty understanding of, and not what is driving her repeat nominations. Has there been anything on the live feeds that suggests anything is going on behind her back in reference to her disability? I know it was an issue for Ian Terry (another on the spectrum) and audiences were pretty pissed that his bullying was allowed.

That’s fair. I don’t usually watch the live feed so if the final nominees are known in the house, I won’t know until tonight. The better long-term game play is to target Derek X or Claire for elimination this week, but I have a feeling it’s going to be Britini.

@Dramamama, no the houseguests haven’t done anything behind her back regarding her disability. She’s just become the safest choice, first as a pawn, and now as the HOH’s target. As with all new seasons of Big Brother, the houseguests love to vote with the house and how the HOH wants and not ruffle any feathers. This season has had relatively no controversial actions among the cast. The closest would probably be Brent’s arrogance and misogyny, or *maybe* when they were describing first impressions and Sara Beth said she assumed Tiffany would be “really sassy”. Nothing like with how they treated Ian…. Or anything that happened on BB15, the season they want so bad to erase from existence.

It’s shocking how Kyland has gone from one of my early season favorites to one of my least favorites ever since his second HOH reign began. MAN! Talk about HOHitis! He’s really rubbing people the wrong way and it’s ruining his game! Demanding everyone answer his questions but refusing to answer anyone else’s question to him then demanding how the nominees campaign. And his required one on ones every day that take hours and he makes absolutely no sense in what he’s saying!

I know it won’t happen but id LOVE for Claire and DX to somehow get two more people on board to go against the House vote. If only Hannah and Tiffany would think for their personal games and not the cookout! Then let Azah think she’s being the only sympathy vote unknowing about the flip, and then they have the 5 votes to evict. It will never happen though.

Good to hear, thanks.

Yes, I hate the groupthink that has become BB the last few years. Not enough move making unless you are hoh.

I can’t believe that more people have not been on to The Cookout.

Big Brother 23

I suppose that is pretty remarkable.

I was very proud of Britini tonight. She held her head up high. And representation matters. I’m interested in how she will vote in jury.

The H.O.H. win was surprising. I considered the winner to be a bit of a floater. Will be interesting to see how influenceable they are & who they ultimately nominate. I think The Cookout could be in danger this coming week.

How many weeks away do you think we are from a double or triple elimination?

Big Brother 23

Britini really didn’t do anything wrong! She became the pawn, eventually the numbers will dwindle down and the pawn will go. Poor move from Kyland and a waste of an HOH imo. Britini was never winning unless she comp’d out, which it’s too early for imo. I absolutely loved her on the show! I think it was time for her to go but I enjoyed her.

Let’s see if SB does anything, but we’re at the predictable point in the season. I think the show is simply too long and the game is too long to not have a few boring and predictable weeks. I hope a double eviction happens next Thursday or the Thursday after as they need to speed things up to the final 6 or closer to it so we can see some movement in the game.

I think Xavier and Tiffany are you winners at the moment, with an outside chance of a Hannah/DX win.

DX is also the best looking houseguest in history imo, shortly followed by Xavier. If you’re into men then wow we have been BLESSED this year!

DX should have played the roulette wheel. Silly mistake.

There is info out there that production tried to get him to change his mind about playing.

It does not surprise me. He is so darn likable. He made a rookie mistake. . DX had more or less figured out the Cookout alliance out but still did not play.

I was thinking if they saved Derek, that would have ended or split the Cookout. I was so disappointed in Tiff backing out of supporting him.

The show didn't do a great job of setting it up, but Azah was set in stone and Tiffany was unable to flip her. So if Tiffany voted for Claire, it still would have resulted in Derek X being evicted and would have put her in a much worse place with Claire.

#66

Big Brother 23

I really don’t understand how they couldn’t have flipped the vote at kept Baby D. I think they easily could have gotten Azah to flip to vte out Claire, I happened to be watching the feeds when DX gave his pitch to Azah and it was a riveting and beautiful moment. She really seemed ready to flip. It was Hannah who actually stopped it from coming to fruition. Big mistake on her part, but her reasoning was she didn’t want to risk having to be the one to take him out later to keep the Cookout going to final 6. She wants his jury vote but she already did him dirty by convincing him not to play for the roulette power and keeping him comfortable.

Tiffany easily could have planned it with Azah to VTE Claire out and let Hannah and Kyland think so as well—with Kyland and Hannahs planned sympathy votes for DX actually keeping him in the game. I know Azah went back to keeping Claire but I think Tiff and DX could have done more to persuade Azah. But that also could have put some riffs in the big alliance.

Big Brother is having to step up security. Read the above link.
"

That makes sense as I was shocked there haven’t been any wall yellers this year! There was a moment on the feeds when Claire and DX were in the backyard talking after Claire was nominated and I was waiting for a yeller. Then Alyssa joined and I’m thinking “this is the perfect time to out the cookout”! Alas it never happened.

Also, do we know for certain there won’t be a battle back this season? Because assuming Claire doesn’t win HOH @ final 7 and we get the inevitable Cookout @final 6, we fans are getting robbed of a week of the cookout scrambling to turn on each other.

if you're unaware at final 7 there will be the second ever TRIPLE eviction so we will go down from 7 to 4 in one two hour event. I love the triple after last season but now we won’t get a whole week with the cookout pulling off the greatest super alliance in BB history.

Azah is playing X's game, not her own - and he's playing her like a fiddle. (I also think SB is playing with Kyland....watch her body language whenever he's affectionate with her.)

Big D and those comps! Two double evictions in a row. Fun! I guess CBS is ready to get it over with.

Actually they were supposed to have a Triple Eviction scheduled 2 weeks from now that was planned before the season began. Production clearly listened to the fans because there was an outpouring of complaints about the triple because it robs The Cookout the chance to celebrate making top 6 (if they succeed), and robs us viewers of watching them finally start turning on each other. Now the HG and us get to experience what could be an epic week of gameplay and backstabbing before the second Double.

Part of me wants The Cookout to succeed for the history making moment and great gameplay. But…

The super-fan in me wants Alyssa to win Veto to see if Tiffany will then be forced to put up her + 1 Claire or if she will make a big move. Then whoever doesn’t go wins the double HOH just to shake up the game. But I think I’m overall I think I’m rooting for CO to succeed.

No matter happens though, A BIPOC and/or LGBTQ+ person will win Big Brother. In 23 seasons we’ve only had 3 POC winners (Jun, Josh, and Kaycee); and 2 LGBT Winners (Andy and Kaycee). And NO BLACK WINNERS. And it’s about fvcking time.

I think Alyssa & Claire will likely still both go home at Thursday’s double elimination, but I think Tiff will likely be leaving right after them as soon as she’s not HOH.

It’s not so much that she refused to throw the comp as it is that The CO including Tiffany had agreed it was best for her to not win this comp so they could target Claire. I get why she wanted Claire to not go home yet, but she has to know she’s alienating the CO. That’s not good jury management.

At this point, she going to have to play a perfect game to make it to the finale. Her only hope in my opinion is to convince Azah and Hannah to stick to an all girl alliance. However, Azah clearly doesn’t like Tiff (and likes X) and Hannah is playing a quiet game where she keeps her cards close to her chest. Plus neither have dominated comps.

I just think she’s gone a little power hungry.

Big Brother 23

Miles, I actually don’t see it that way at all! I’m actually kind of surprised production edited it the way they did which kind of did Tiff dirty when they’re also giving her the narrator edit (in the DR) that they give to one houseguest every season. If you follow the live feeds or the LF recaps on Jokers Updates/ Hamsterwatch/Big Brother Network— the plan was supposed to be for Azah or Big D to win HOH this week to put BOTH Claire and Alyssa up together. They ALL said Kyland absolutely couldn’t win HOH because he plays a selfish game and only thinks of himself. He was even going around telling everyone he wanted to win HOH because he didn’t like not having a say in what was going on. None of that came through on the CBS edit.

As soon as Claire dropped they were all supposed to drop to let Azah win but when Kyland didn’t, Tiff stayed up because he’s unpredictable and Tiff legit feared he was going to break from the CO plan and nominate her and get her out. And when Xavier was complaining in the DR he said to paraphrase: “This HOH was supposed to go to Azah or Big D since they haven’t had the chance to be HOH”. But Big D was first out and then Azah fell so it’s not her fault they didn’t win HOH. Tiff ALWAYS said she wouldn’t throw it until Kyland was also out. Tiff knows she’s seen as the biggest threat and along with Kyland, is in the worst spot in the CO and most likely the biggest targets. She didn’t want him to win and she knows the three guys want her out first. I think she did exactly what she needed to do….. in the moment. If Kyland dropped when X dropped I honestly think Tiff would have also dropped to give it to Azah.

With that said without giving away any spoilers…. Oh man this is going to be an epic week with what has happened so far. I have my popcorn ready!

Big Brother 23

Oh that makes sense now. Thanks. Yeah, they’re sneaky how they edit things. I had actually been happy for her when I saw her win on the live feed (I don’t often watch but I sometimes do for comps). But then tonight they made it look like she betrayed the CO. Will be interesting how things turn out for sure. Ready for double elimination this week.

Once only The CO is (assumingly) left, it’ll be interesting to see what order they get voted out.

Big D arguably deserves to go first. He’s the definition of a floater. But that might be why he gets carried to the end unless they’re worried his social game might garner him votes. Azah has also largely floated on the coattails of the alliance.

Final four should probably be X, Ky, Tiff, and Hannah, but we know it’ll probably not turn out that way. Lol.
#74

Big Brother 23

I think there could be a possibility that within The Cookout the three women and Big D could take out the two men. I think it depends on who wins The HOH comps and the veto powers.

It is quite possible that CBS decided to do double evictions two weeks in a row because they were worried that ratings might fall.

#75

Big Brother 23

I like to think they realized rushing the end of the season with a triple eviction, when THIS is what the game has been setting up all season for, was a bad idea. Give them time to breathe, get to the final 6, then bing bam boom, duke it out!
