Can any of you McCain supporters please explain why Sarah Palin has not appeared on ANY of the Sunday talk shows since she was announced as VP nominee? As a McCain supporter, do you HONESTLY think this is a smart move? She wants an important job as the VP yet is AFRAID to talk to the press unless it is a hand picked crowd of her supporters only and asks gets to see the questions beforehand.
If you've got nothing to say, better to say nothing at all...
That's my point. A person campaigning to be the VP should have lots to say, which she does. She talks great as long as you don't ask her any questions.

One can only hope that this is the end of the GOP mindset that put Reagan into office, followed the Newt, and has persisted ever since. All of the moderate Republicans who have been abused or ignored by their party, some of whom have even endorsed Democratic candidates against Bush and McCain, need to be recognized and heeded once again for the party to survive.
What Kristol fails to mention, and none of the panel brings up, is that he himself recommended the attack tactic just last week.
He also pushed Palin for McCain's VP pick.

Sometimes I think the country is headed for serious internal political violence. There's not even a premise now of having joint goals and working for the greater good.
I agree, Yawper. The next four years are going to be frightening, regardless of who wins.

The only reason he says it's pathetic and flailing is that it's losing. If they were winning, he'd be all for it.

I hate the fact that he said that it's "not a racist campaign". Umm...yeah it is you moron!!
At first it wasn't, but now that it's coming down to wire McCain and Palin are conductors on the "He's a negro, and he must be stopped" train, and stirring up those *Uh-Hem* less than dormant feelings among their supporters.
