Her, the man on the board. It's a gay thing - some people call guys "her" and "she." It's funny in person, my friend does it.

As funny as this billboard is, when I start thinking about it, it depresses me that people who believe in that are still crawling the earth.

we understand the gay thing, but the point is the comment made by reading the RIGHT billboard after the LEFT billboard

Pal Joey: I got the joke. It's still sad that the billboard to the left EXISTS, that's all I'm saying.

I think PalJoey was talking to Elphaba.

yes he was, and I got the joke, I just ignored it...as I did the second billboard.
What is important is the nasty fact that the first billboard exists at all in 2005 in what is supposedly the most intelligent nation on the planet.

Humor can be a very powerful tool in changing bigoted viewpoints, Elphaba. Humor can put bigotry into perpective and defang it.

I just saw the episode of Will & Grace again where NPH plays a reformed homosexual. Fabulous episode.

Just a bunch of bogus crap--I love how the male icon of a few years ago kept getting caught in gay bars.

"You wish" indeed!! :) :) :) :)

Paljoey, I'm not gay. Nope. I was once but not anymore.
You know how I reformed? By looking at that billboard. Yep, made me straight right away.
Bring on the girls! Can I find them at Splash?

Okay, Bway. We're going to have a gay intervention. We're going to forcibly remove you from your place of work, blindfold you, take you to an undisclosed location, strip you down, get you drunk...

...and make you sing SHOWTUNES!

Didn't the two guys who started Exodus (the ex-gay movement) leave the group because they ended up falling in love?

Now that is, as Alanis might say, ironic.
