Love it! For some reason I don't have the box set of all 4 seasons (though gave it to a friend as a present).

Seasons (or don't they call them series in the UK?) 2 and 3 are my favorites. The supporting players are great, too...Stephen Fry, Miranda Richardson, Hugh Laurie...

Enjoy!

Mine too. Her Queenie in Series Two is masterful.

Nothing precious, plain to see, don't make a fuss over me. Not loud, not soft, but somewhere inbetween. Say sorry, just let it be the word you mean.

I love Blackadder! I'd have to second the vote for series 2 & 3 as the best. The first one is probably my least favorite, because I like the smart, sarcastic Edmund better, although the Spanish Infanta episode with Miriam Margolyes is classic. I might have to vote for "Head" from Blackadder II as the funniest single episode (Edmund is the new executioner), but I love series 3 so much because of Hugh Laurie as the Prince Regent. Anyway, yes, Blackadder is great!

Have loved this show FOREVER! You should checkout Black Adder's Christmas Carol!
Another vote for Season two. Miranda Richardson is just too funny.

"All I ask of you is one thing: please don't be cynical. I hate cynicism -- it's my least favorite quality and it doesn't lead anywhere. Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get. But if you work really hard and you're kind, amazing things will happen." Conan O'Brien

A classic, believe it or not the fianl episode of Blackadder goes forth (the WW1 series, sorry not sure of the number) is often shown in UK schools as part of history lessons :)

It was the 4th series, hence the name. And I quite believe it is shown in schools. The last shot is astonishingly poignant.

Love Blackadder as well -- especially Blackadder Goes Forth. The whole Darling thing cracks me up every time.

Jeeves and Wooster is another favorite although I don't think they should it on BBCA.

I'm a bit of a Hugh Laurie fan in case you couldn't tell...
