since you have the ultimate power to move a thread to the Off-Topic Board when you deem it off-topic, then shouldn't you also see a thread and say "Hmmm, this thread really belongs on the ON-Topic Board!"

It's just so wrong. Threads never get from here to there. It's some freaky law or something that when a poster deems a thread off-topic that it stays here. I don't think a thread from here has ever crossed over. It disturbs the natural order. It has something to do with Darwinism, Platoism, Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs,Johari's Window.. something like that...
