As a female I will not share.
Depends on the guy. If he is very hot, Speedos. If he is not, shorts.

lordy, no speedos please! I have bad memories with those things. When I was about 7, I was visiting my grandparents in France, and we went to this pool that only allowed speedos on the guys. Well I was waiting for my turn on the diving board, and in front of me were 2 teens and a little kid and they kept pulling down his speedo! It was rather sad and not good for me to see a little naked boy suffer lol.

If I'm competing, speedo. If I'm at a beach and want a good tan, speedo.

My preference for the general male population.... board shorts.
There are a few guys whom I wouldn't mind seeing in a Speedo, though.
But for the most part, board shorts, please. Last time I was at the beach, I spotted this forty or fifty-year-old guy with a beer belly wearing a tiny Speedo. No thanks.
