What if authors went on strike? A funny little phone conversation I had with my (very sweet but sometimes a little slow on the uptake) ex the other night...
CALVIN'S EX: So, are you on strike now?
CALVIN: What?
CALVIN'S EX: Are you on strike?
CALVIN: What are you talking about?
CALVIN'S EX: I thought the writers were on strike.
CALVIN: Yes. The screenwriters, honey. Not all writers.
CALVIN'S EX: But aren't you all in the same union?

Um, this is about the serious art of reading, as well as those selfish writers and stage hands who have the nerve to interrupt the entertainment needs of BWW.

But would reading books support the Scummy PRODUCERS who won't pay a living wage and so, are causing this horrific strike or the Greedy STAGEHANDS who want to be paid for not working and so, are causing this horrific strike??? 'cause I don't want to send the message I am supporting them!
