Bose Sound System For iPod

I have been looking to upgrade to this and wondered if anybody had it? I like to use my speakers for my laptop as well so would this connect to my laptop too? Thank you in advance!

Yes. But let me tell you.. ..I like the JBL system much better and it is much cheaper. I have them both.

I tried it in the store once. Amazing. If I had the money, I would have bought it that day.

I am assuming this is what you mean. $249.00. I am telling you.. JBL is better and much cheaper. $99.00

i love it. the sound is divine, but it's heavy (about 8 pounds) and not as flexible as speakers. but bose stuff lasts forever.

I have the Bose SoundDock and I love it. The sound quality is excellent. The salesman had me listen to a few of the other top brands and the sound didn't compare, but it is pricey.

We have a round set of speakers for the iPod, and they are fantastic. (I will try to find the name, etc.)

So yes they both can be attached to the laptop, but you prefer the JBLs, Dame? Any particular reason? Would love to hear. Thank you so much for the help.

Ok just looked at one of the reviews and it says that a Con is that it cannot be connected to a computer.... So can it or cannot it not? ha

I find the sound to be richer. i also love the small speakers that can be tucked away anywhere. I always feel like the bose comes out with slightly muffled sound and that the base is not as strong. As I said.. I do have both.

I don't have the iPod Bose system, but I have quite a few other Bose products and they are all amazing!

I don't think the SoundDock plugs into a computer.

Edit: I just checked, I know it doesn't.

Dame, your JBL picture isn't showing up for me...is that the creature speaker thing? I have that and am very happy with it. And we have it rigged up so that it wirelessly plays from the computer, too.

I have the Bose system. I absolutely love it! I highly recommend it.
