Wow, "..Emily Rose" did a great job this week. I'm happy for Red Eye for becoming a big sleeper hit already. If you haven't seen Red Eye yet, GO! It's the best thriller in a long, long, LONG time.

And the fact that people think that about Red Eye just goes to show what a sorry state of affairs the thriller/horror genre is in.

Emily Rose took a lot more than was predicted though. Good for her. I enjoyed it even though it's complete bunk and doesn't end well. Laura Linney could read the phone book and I'd be happy.

Nothing precious, plain to see, don't make a fuss over me. Not loud, not soft, but somewhere inbetween. Say sorry, just let it be the word you mean.

"Laura Linney could read the phone book and I'd be happy. "

Well it would almost have to be more interesting than the movies she's in.

Well say what you like about Emily Rose, but it was most definitely interesting.

And is it wrong that I am pleased that The Man has belly flopped, with a take of only half what was predcicted?
