FWIW, I’ve seen DOWNSTATE, BIRTHRIGHT, and BLUEBERRIES all Off Broadway and would easily rank them in that exact order. To me, this production (and JELLICLE BALL) are the biggest artistic triumphs of this past Broadway season.This DOAS served as a reminder (to myself) not to pooh-pooh something before giving it a shot.
