I have no idea of their political affiliations, but oh! if I had a gun right now.
Been waiting four days for a package. First they sent it to the wrong adress, then they went to the right adress, but after business hours, then they went to the wrong place because the tele-idiot at their center took down the zip code wrong, now it's two hours before my business closes and I'm still waiting...how much you wanna bet it doesn't come?
What has brown done for you?

DHL it, brutha. I haven't used UPS in YEARS. Been Fed-ex up until DHL popped up. So, I support the newbie. Free market is good. More choices are good.
I may, however, have to start boycotting Fresh Direct....bastards......

I have been boycotting UPS for awhile. I've had the following happen to me twice: I've stayed home waiting for a delivery from UPS. At around 5 pm I checked the internet to see the status of my package and it has said "delivery attempt made". The driver on my route is known for skipping deliveries so that he can get home early. UPS refuses to do anything about it despite many complaints from me and other customers. Their defense of their lying driver is sickening.
PS: I work it from all angles. I wrote to Amazon.com who prefers shipping UPS and told them that I was going to quit using them unless they put pressure on UPS to get it together. Amazon couldn't care less whether UPS screws up their orders so I'm almost done using them too.

Posted: 10/23/04 at 6:06pmI've had that same problem, Gotham. I've been home all day, only to find that notice on my door! And it's happened more than once, and at more than one address. It's not just one driver.

I always use UPS and I've never had a problem (knock wood). I've had 20 packages (in the last two weeks) delivered by UPS, and there was never a problem. UPS is my shipping choice whenever I'm able to select it. It may be less a problem with UPS, and more a problem with the individual drivers. I've had the same two drivers for ten years and now, and they provide excellent service.
The same can not be said for the USPS. I ordered a stability ball that was sent by priority mail on the 13th with delivery confirmation. As of Friday, the tracking info said it had been misrouted even though the store sent me a copy of the receipt which lists the correct address. I called USPS, and I was told that I would have it "sometime next week."
