Borstal, no, you're not the only one who is sick of Brad Pitt. I've been sick of him since it became clear that he's second only to Keanu Reeves for sheer thespian ineptitude. He'd be a perfectly acceptable underwear model, but his attempts at acting are getting embarassing. His simian glowering in Troy looked more like an audition for another makeupless remake of Planet Of The Apes.

He isn't a terrible actor, just an okay one with occassional flashes of "good". However, it isn't everybody who manages to become Public Enemy #1 to hundreds of Australians in one fell swoop.

Once upon a time, Darren Aronofsky (Requiem for a Dream) was about to make a movie called The Fountain, starring Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett. In Australia, the sets were built, millions of dollars invested, hundreds of crew members employed...when Pitt decided to back out and film Troy instead.

The newly unemployed crew members were so pissed they actually wrote an open letter and sent it to AICN (link below). The sets were sold off, the crew members fired, the money considered lost. Aronofsky ended up having to rewrite the script for a much smaller budget and finally got to film the thing last year, with different stars.

And that's how Brad Pitt pissed off a great many Australians.

Well I think Brad is set in the "gay" department.
1. Frosted Hair (well it was)
2. Dating a Bi-sexual Girl
3. Has an adopted child

I don't know if one should "beg" for a gay role. You get selected if the producers and casting department think you can pull it off.
