This show is to reality television what Carrie the Musical was to Broadway........... so terribly bad it's brilliant!
Such a testiment to her acting abilities to come across as caring, concerned and compassionate.
I adore her!
I was going to post about this show a while back, but I forgot.
I haven't seen that many episodes of it, but I've enjoyed the ones I've seen.
I love how Shannen treats ever poor sap on that show like she is their new best friend. I also love how she lies through her teeth and says, "I'm gonna call you to see how this all turned out. You better not go back to him." Shannen is deplorable, but I must say I love her and the show. It's like watching a car crash.
I mean, honestly, how stable is your relationship that you can't even talk to the person-you need to send a D-lister to do the dirty work.
Although I was surprised when Shannen got a guy with cold feet to propose. That was interesting.
It is cream of the crop in terms of crappy tv. Not quite as good as the Janice Dickenson Modeling Agency, but pretty much up there.
If I could have sent someone in to cut the cords on a few of my past beaus, it would have been Bette Davis
I think I would want Sandra Bernhard, Margaret Cho, Kathy Griffin or Wanda Sikes to take care of my exes.
Yes, then lets you & I discuss it over cocktails with Sandra afterwards!
I can hear Sandy now, " Honey, please you are wasting your time. Get over it."
Margaret would channel her mother, " I think-a, uh, you should not a call no more."
Kathy would cut to the chase, "Yea, you need to f@#k off."
Wanda would be like (remember this in her hilarious tone of voice), "How freakin stupid are you? The bitch don't ever call you back and you keep callin'. Youre ignorant!"
