A "new" acquaintance of mine has created one of the most brilliant would-be commercials for Trader Joe's set to Jobim's (also known for Girl From Ipanema") "Waters of March" - which is arguably one of the most difficult songs to memorize and sing.

Incidently - Carl worked on some of the effects for "Across The Universe" - among others.

I just. Oh. My. God. He names just about each and everything about Trader Joe's that rubs me the wrong way. At first I was just astonished and nodding along in that "this guy is saying out loud all the things I feel" kind of way, and then he got to "the electronic field" shot and I almost pissed myself.

Fantastic. Just fantastic.

It's not only a brilliant spot on its own - the fact that he skillfully names all these products to Waters of March is just incredible.
