I saw this earlier and struggled with how I felt. I think this comment posted by someone elsewhere actually sums up how I feel -

Yeah, it's mean for someone to call your mom a whore.

Then again, it's also pretty sh*tty to claim your long-term boyfriend and father of your child raped you. And then write a book about it, which your child can someday read.

It's also also pretty rotten to announce that people who don't vote for you on a stupid TV dance contest deserve "a big middle finger."

It's also also also kind of downright not awesome to take to Facebook and call random people "f*ggots" and a host of other slurs, just because you think it's funny.

So, I'm going to call this one even. At best.

These people who LOVE being in the public eye and love all the attention & $$$ Have the thinnest skin there is. No one can say ANYTHING about Sarah Palin without her having one of her employees write something on Facebook or her going on FOX to get the last word in. Same with Bristol. I saw video a few years ago where Bill Clinton was walking down the street and someone shouted something hateful to him. He just smiled and ignored the guy. Of course, Bill Clinton has more class then the entire Palin family combined but still. These rednecks want the limelight and attention but ONLY if people praise them and kiss their a$$!

With regard to this one specific incident, my sympathy lies with Bristol. She's a 20 year old girl out having a good time (albeit for the benefit of a reality show), when a creepy 47-year old man yells abuse and sexual innuendo. She handles it calmly and actually tries to reason with the guy who responds by shouting louder and calling her a bitch. Oh, and telling her that her mother will end up in hell. The guy is a grade A moron, publicly humiliating a girl barely out of her teens.

As far as I'm concerned, Bristol wins this hands down.

Oh, and as for the homosexual remark...I don't know her thinking, but I'm guessing she has experience which tells her that the gay community aren't exactly pre-disposed to the GOP. Rightly so, but still.

Sure, Bristol is a moron, but this guy yelled out "Did you ride Levi like that?!" and "Your mother is a whore!" If that wasn't scripted the guy is a moron and a jackass. Then he couldn't really give her REAL reasons why her mother was the devil. I think it was planned and done pretty well to make gay people and the opposition in general look rude, heartless and stupid. She didn't handle herself very well, but the fact that she called him a "homosexual" and not a "faggot" tells me the whole thing was staged.

There has to be some abstinence club she could be lecturing at. I mean she did install herself as the national role model for abstinence after spawning her bastard.

Or did she give that role up after if proved to be too unexciting for reality TV? I can't keep up.
