I see the love fest with Greta VanSus... and the Palin family continues. Now she has interviewed Bristol who basically said that abstinence programs really don't work..... REALLY? Now she wants to be an advocate for teen moms- PUHLEEZE! Do you really think she thought about doing this herself? Why can't she just stay up there in Alaska and raise her baby. Why do we need her to be a spokesperson? What's she gonna say- I didn't listen to my mom and look what happened to me- it could happen to you. Personally- I don't think she's in the same predicament. I'm sure her parents haven't thrown her out of the house and I bet they give her full financial support- especially after her mama gets payment for her book deal. okay- I'll get off my box now!

Deut. 23:2: "A bastard shall not enter into the congregation of the Lord; even to his tenth generation shall he not enter into the congregation of the Lord
Poor little Palin baby gonna burn in the fires of Gehenna!
I gehenna'd my hair back in the 80s.
She thinks there should be MORE teen pregnancies?
Thank GOD this family was not let anywhere NEAR the White House. She makes the Bush twins seem like the Nixon girls.

She would have done better to have come up with a line of maternity shirts that read,"Don't Let This Happen to You".

Why do liberals always jump to huge conclusions despite what is so blatantly obvious?
SM, did you watch that interview? Bristol Palin could barely string two sentences together. Even on basic questions like "Does your baby poop its diaper?" she couldn't give a coherent answer. I don't think you have to worry about Bristol Palin corrupting your sensibilities.

HAHAHAHAHAHA!
Oh my God. She's even dumber than I would have expected!
"I never would've thought my mom was gonna be chosen as Vice President."
Did she miss something?
"SM, did you watch that interview? Bristol Palin could barely string two sentences together."
Like mother, like daughter.
Why does she look like she is going to burst into tears?

"I hope that people learn from my story and just like - I don't know - prevent teen pregnancy, I guess."
Or SOME-thing. Whatevs.
Phyllis - Since that line of Scripture does not address homosexuals, Christians are not obligated to follow it.

"I hope that people learn from my story and just like - I don't know - prevent teen pregnancy, I guess. If only there some way to stop the Blue Fairy from dropping the baby seed in the pumpkin patch until the girl gets married. But you can't so I guess we just need to give them babies all the love we can and hope the stork don't bring us no more."

Lol, Matt. You have me there!
PalJoey, I thought the same thing about the thread title. I wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt and rationalize that she meant fewer abortions, but clearly that's giving her too much credit.
I guess I was expecting her to be more mature and put together. She struck me as immature for the average 18 year old. She's certainly immature compared to the 18 year old I know.

Between Sarah talking about getting past the ideal (or did she say idyll?) of abstinence to the celebration of what a great mother Bristol is, I couldn't think of a better commercial for teen pregnancy.
That's what I was thinking, too. Oh, it's not always easy, but it's SO rewarding. Bristol is SUCH a great mom. We have such a great support system. Teen moms have produced some great, contributing members of society.
Sounds like encouraging it to me.

All this talk of, "I wish it had happened later when I had an education and my own house and a job, etc" and not one mention of any kind of birth control whatsoever. Even when they spoke of her "choice," the word abortion wasn't mentioned and barely even alluded to except in a convoluted way.
These people are delusional.
No one will say it out loud because it's borderline offensive, but they end up being a commercial for abortion.
Oh. I guess I just did.
It's the water in Alaska Phyl.
