Yes it is.

And in twenty years, other people will have opinions about Britney Spears, and they will have had time to look back and see if she was really 'great'. Then it would have been appropriate to judge the worth of her music and whether or not it could be put on a CD labeled, 'greatest hits'.

I don't think Som's taking it too seriously but she certainly wouldn't be the only one who thinks "Greatest" is an interesting word choice, judging by other comments on here. "Biggest"...maybe.

i think they are using the term "greatest" to define the songs that had the "greatest" sales, "greatest" popularity, "greatest" airplay, etc.

there's no denying that the songs included on this cd were big hits for her, sold millions of copies and received massive amounts of airplay on the radio.

any collection or compilation of songs that were hits and identify an artist are generally referred to as their "greatest hits".

and besides who ever heard of an album of hits being titled "biggest hits". LOL

she is unique..i have to say that for her.
i'm not a fanatic but she's turned out a good song here and there.
she's harmless.

Perhaps, Angel, but I don't see her really contributing anything meaningful to music. That's where my problem lies- there are so many more talented people than her, but she's the one with 'great hits'

i'm sure she's not the first or will be the last untalented person (in your opinion) to have a succesful recording career and thrive.

No one did; does that mean I'm not allowed to wish that the radio waves of the world are not clogged with her 'music'?

I love Britney! I love her looks, her music AND especially her dancing. I could care less if she sang live when I saw her just as long as I see her shake her groove thangggg.. yeah yeah!
