break a leg erika! this is one show that rarely gets revived. sounds like a great cast! i love "they call the wind maria", one of my favorites. 
i didn't know sharon lawrence could sing!

wow! that's some great stuff! i just looked up some past performances and the 1968 awards had Bette Midler among "Tevye's daughters" who performed "Matchmaker, Matchmaker".

wow! this is a tough one.
they all have there pluses and minuses.
the OBC w/Merman has Merman but not Gypsy's show stopping strip routine, for example.
i have all of them:
Merman
Lansbury
Russell
Daly
and
Peters
i wished the Papermill revival starring Betty Buckley would have been recorded, she was amazing.

i think "poppins" just closed it's preview performances at the bristol hippodrome.
it should open in london in december.
i'm sure after it opens in london they will record the cast album and release it.
i heard alot of positive things about this show.
i'm planning a trip to london soon and this will definitely be on my must-see list.

i'm excited that the show is finally going to be filmed.
i doubt that the producers of the show have made any decisions in regards to the current state of the show based on a film that hasn't even been made or released yet.
i find it odd that playbill.com had "deleted" that article, that is assuming there was an article to begin with, they usually don't delete their articles so soon which leads me to believe it didn't exist in the first place.
