Sorry, Daisy is on the casting couch with me. I'm angling for a really big star...

I sing for myself. I sing when I want, whenever I want to, just for me. I sing for my own pleasure. Do you understand that?

I didn't cast you as Idina, I cast you as Rachel and there's nothing wrong with being cast as Rachel, stop with the nonpretty talk. If Stephanie can play me, Rachel can play you. Idina was just a threat to get you to realize that.

And hang on, when did you win the discus?

I see a young Michele Pawk as CJR

Well CJR, Beth Fowler is not the best choice for me either ( she is a bit older and heavier than I am), but the role of loving mother works for me. (Besides she sings my favorite Peter Allen song, "Don't Cry Outloud") Take the compliment!

"All I ask of you is one thing: please don't be cynical. I hate cynicism -- it's my least favorite quality and it doesn't lead anywhere. Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get. But if you work really hard and you're kind, amazing things will happen." Conan O'Brien

WHOA, don't lose your panties, folks. BT had me preoccupied...

Okay, first of all... me? Kelli O'Hara? She's too ingenuey and not quirky enough to capture the Daisy essence. (Plus she's a big classical soprano... a Daisy Kelli O'Hara is not.)

I'm not sure I'm seeing CJR as Rachel York... I'll keep thinking on that one.

Mominator, no it's not final... if you've noticed I'm not even cast yet. Actually, I think YOU should be played by Pawk because she's very "mom-eqsue". She's not too old for ya, either.

And Margo, Alma is cool! Since you're so unappreciative, we'll cast someone else as Alma and you can be Marissa Jaret Winokur.

Fine, but Dollypop is being played by Carol Channing.

No, I'm going to be a diva for a moment and NOT post the updated cast until we finalize my part as we're on page seven, this creation is my baby, and I still am not cast!

So, whats it going to be Emily in pigtails and polka dots, Kristin on stilts, or Kerry with a padded bra? Or... any other inspired choices.

I think Marc should write the music because this is just far too much pressure for a wee little thing like me... !

I thought we had settled on Emily quite a while back. The other two just aren't right for your character. Now post the list!!

Daisy should be played by Betty Buckley on Prozac.

Betty Buckley on Prozac?? I see that as a compliment re: BroadwayWorld the Musical, written and directed by Daisy Hilton..

How about Daisy Egan, then? Though she isn't *nearly* as pretty as our Daisy.

Ooo, look, StickToPriest made a funny.

Maybe a little too funny to participate.

Guido, baby, I would say we'd cast you as Marc Kudisch because you're a bit of a player... but since Matt seems to already have taken the role...
