My name is Chita and not Rita
Rita is Rita but not Chita
Liza likes Chita but not Rita
I wouldn't mind if they shot RI-ta...
Love the idea of Michele Pawk, but was still hoping for Ms. Pitre!

Mom, you strike me as being very Pawk like. If your heart is set on Pitre, though...
Nina, do you mind being Bebe Neuwirth playing you? Is that kosher? (Personally I'd like Bebe playing me, but we can't have everything we want in life, I guess.)
And Nina is now our official casting director. You all are welcome to submit headshots and resumes in appropriate fashion... she's the go-to girl.

Margo...
Are you cool with Angela?
Oh, and what ever happened to my suggestion for Alice Ripley as shesings???
Since I can't play myself I vote for Felicia Finley as me :)
Oh good casting for Slaton!
What about me, was my suggestion good?
I second uniq as Felicia Finley...=)

Can I be Elphaba?
E_S you got it all backwards....
Ebonic, we are not playing characters in musicals. The idea is to have a certain Broadway star portray you. I want JLT to play me, Slaton will be played Mitchell David Federan etc
Who do you think should play you?
**FROM THE AUDIENCE**
You are all doing a great job on stage, this should be a hit
**aside** Damn it for me not being on stage. Am I too fat? Does my breath stink? And I not hot enough? CJR is def. hot, but what about me? I need Catherine? Where's Catherine?
**FROM THE AUDIENCE**
YAY!!! This should be the hottest musical of the century and you all deserve it.
**aside** le sigh!!!
i, for one, am still waiting to be cast...
hmmm if I could cast myself, I would be played by a younger-not-pregnant Daphne Rubin-Vega, Loraine Velez, Kendra Kassebaum or Yasmin Alers. However casting myself is apparently against the rules, so someone else give a suggestion...
I said before:
Joey--Patrick Wilson
NoDay--Daphne Rubin-Vega
I'm back for a brief time before running off to my birthday dinner...
Yes, Daisy, I believe Margo was fine with Ms. Lansbury - her problem was with Ms. Cuervo.
spider, it doesn't appear to be official, yet... Patrick hasn't signed and i hear Dick Latessa is up for the part as well...
oh........well at least you have people auditioning for you.

Okay, I have to leave NOW (seeing Reckless... go Mary Louise Parker!!! Woo.)... so, don't go and throw mini-diva fits while I'm gone. Diva fits are reserved for me.

I vote 'Patrick Wilson' for joeyjoe!
I'll be the first to lead the S.O. for you guys!

How could anyone complain about having the great Mme. Lansbury portray them? No offense intended to Ms. Cuervo. *kisses*
And if StickToPriest doesn't like my Harrison Chad suggestion -- I suppose he'll weigh in on this whenever he gets home from detention -- how about Mandy Patinkin? While the age difference might make it a bit of a stretch (not that I think Priest would mind), I figure if Mandy can play everything from dogs to painters to revolutionaries to minstrel performers, playing a teenage Sondheim fanatic should be a piece of cake.
Margo - any teenage boy who doesn't want to be played by Harrison Chad should have their head examined.

I know, I know. It just occurred to me that if it were up to Priest to decide whom he'd like to play him, I'd guess that Patinkin would be towards the top of his list, given how closely he is associated with Sondheim's work. Just thought I'd toss it out there.
