In an effort to save money, I'm trying to eschew cab rides to LaGuardia. I've taken the M60 from Astoria before. It wasn't bad, but the ride seemed interminable and a bit crowded. How does the Q33 compare if I take the 7 line out to Jackson Heights? The subway part is about the same distance from where I'm starting.

If it matters, I'll be getting on the bus pre-rush hour, about 3 p.m. or so.

I do not have any advice, but there should not be any shortage of expert queens here. re: Buses to LaGuardia -- a question for the Queens experts

The Q33 ride is even longer. Stick with the Astoria bus.

It is? That's what I figured, even though it looks the same. About the only advantage to the Q33 seems to be that it would be less crowded, but the other bus shouldn't be too bad at that time of day on a Thursday...so thanks! re: Buses to LaGuardia -- a question for the Queens experts
