Bush: Best film villain 28 October 2004
President George W. Bush has been named Movie Villain of the Year as he topped a poll of a British magazine readers ahead of next week's US Presidential elections
London, England, Oct. 28 - President George W. Bush has been named Movie Villain of the Year as he topped a poll of a British magazine readers ahead of next week's US Presidential elections.
Bush won the dubious accolade, announced on Wednesday, for his unintentional and very un-actorish part in Michael Moore's documentary Fahrenheit 9/11, beating a shortlist of fictional film bad guys.
The president was voted scarier than characters such as Doctor Octopus, played by Alfred Molina, in Spider-Man2; the cannibalistic Leatherface in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre; Gollum from The Lord Of The Rings trilogy; and Elle Driver, the assassin played by Daryl Hannah in Kill Bill.
Almost 10,000 people voted in the survey, carried out by Total Film Magazine.
Total Film editor Matt Mueller said: "It is possible that people have been a little bit tongue in cheek here, but they are also saying that Bush was very scary in Fahrenheit 9/11.
"He was absolutely terrifying in that film. He looked like a man who had lost control - the famous scene where he sits there in a school, absolutely paralysed, after being told about the twin towers, is just one example.
"Fahrenheit 9/11 was a huge box office hit. Lots of people saw it and movie-goers are saying that there's no one like George Bush to strike fear into people's hearts."

I'm starting to hate the British almost as much as I hate the French.

Eric Cartman is the funniest tv character since Archie Bunker.
The episode where he went to school dressed as Hitler is one of the funniest things ever.

Wow, you must hate a lot of people if you hate everyone who doesn't agree with our worthless president and his disgusting administration.
It's sad that our president has become a scary joke everywhere, even among our "allies".
