Here's the story of the year:

A DC to London plane was diverted this evening, making an emergency landing in Maine, because Cat Stevens was on board and was suspected of being a terrorist.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Cat Stevens. I think that his songs would make a wondeful musical alla Mamma Mia stlye. I have actually already worked out a plot for them.

I find this whole thing very curious...why is he on all these terrorist watch lists? Has he done something, or are they just targeting him because he's a Muslim? I LOVE Cat Stevens, and this whole thing seems to have come out of left field! What's going on?!?!

just outta curiosity, do ya think it might be possible that there's more than one yusuf islam (that's his name now folks) in the world? personally i think he lost all credibility when he wrote maggie thatcher asking for "the satanic verses" to be banned as it was and is "blasphemous". that'd be like toby keith asking gw to ban "the davinci code." maybe it was an over reaction, but maybe that name is shared by someone with less than charitable plans towards us kuffars.

ok, so it looks at this point like he's giving money to terrorist causes or at least that's what is being given for the diversion of the flight. well, give to hamas and take your chances when flying into the u.s., yusuf.
