re: CNN: Obama meeting with Clinton in her home tonight

Probably telling her he won't be picking her as his VP. Maybe this is his way of breaking it to her gently.

I'll be really disappointed if he doesn't ask her. If he does and she refuses, then that will be different.

I don't think he will be asking her though.

I'm guessing Bill wanted to show Barak how good he is at Grand Theft Auto IV and Guitar Hero. You know Bill, always showing off.

PalJoey, that was hilarious! Thanks for making my evening!

Do you think they both know the best way to eat a black and white cookie? There was a whole Seinfeld episode about it, and Jerry's reasoning makes quite a bit of sense.

I was going to suggest that there may be a bowl of sour grapes on the table, but I decided not to.

I would argue that these two bitches are the problem.

Well, John Edwards has now officially said he is not interested in as VP. Since Obama is not offering her the VP Edwards was my second choice.( and I doubt Kucinich is on his VP list)so, I am very disappointed. I was slowly warming up and am still happy to see the first African American be a presidential candidate, but imagine for a second having the first African American President and the first female Vice President. I've heard other women mentioned as possible VP's, but Hillary was the one who could bring SO MUCH to the table.

I never thought Edwards was a realistic VP choice. He didn't seem to help Kerry much in 2004.

Would she not have more power in the senate though or if she got a cabinet position? I supported Hillary but I'm not sure if vp is her best move in the long term. I mean she couldn't run in 2012 if she's his vp.

This shows how dumb Obama is. You never meet the opposition on their turf.
If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

First of all, she is not the opposition. By the way, updated news reports say that the meeting was actually held at Senator Feinstein's home.

Goth my thought exactly- but that was apparently cable news sheep-ism- CNN sent a crew to her house and everyone followed, reporting that Obama was inside. When Hillary came home about 11, did they look stupid.

re: CNN: Obama meeting with Clinton in her home tonight

OK, its not official but all signs are pointing that he WILL NOT ask her to be his running mate. If it were bloggers reporting whispers and gossip I would dismiss it. However, I am hearing it from Obama's camp and Clinton's camp that she is not going to be his VP choice.

So, yeah your right. Its not official. I'm dreaming to much and I need to focus on reality. I think Hillary will be quiet throughout the summer and come back and campaign for Obama and his VP. Hope I am wrong, but I don't think I am.

It's a media thing again.

The media doesn't want to allow Obama to choose her.

Obama understands what the Republicans understand: that Obama/Clinton would be unbeatable.

He has to manage his Hillary Hating fans and the Hillary hating media.

It's only the voters who want her.

re: CNN: Obama meeting with Clinton in her home tonight

I seriously doubt that he will offer it to her. At first I thought he would pretty much have to, but he's signaling that he isn't.

Anyway, I'm guessing that last night's meeting was to arrange him helping her pay off her debt, and how she'll get her delegates to support him as she's only "suspending" her campaign.

In her home?

It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.” ~ Muhammad Ali

I never thought Edwards was a realistic VP choice.

Me neither. I always thought that little hottie should be President.
