She only ammended the books after she was confronted about it. I thought Palin was a cost-cutting maverick!

She amended the books to say that her kids were on official business- even though they weren't invited.

At Huffpost, somone quoted a pediatrician who strongly denounced the practice of repeatedly dragging a Downs Syndrome infant onstage in front of loud noises, flashbulbs, etc. This baby needs quiet nurturing, calming influences. He's being tossed over her shoulder like a prop.

I read the New Yorker piece on Sarah, which makes it crystal clear that she was far from plucked from obscurity. She wanted this, took steps to get it (hiring an east coast pr firm -- hmmmm, how elite, huh?) Her vaulting ambition is now legendary. I just want her 15 minutes to end, and to not see or hear of her again for a long, long while. Let Fox put her on in the winter in her recycled wardrobe.

I agree Augie, let her whither into ovlivion, but I do not think that will happen. If Obama wins, she will become the white knight of the far right wing. You know, the right wing that believes in abstinence only and condemns "welfare" mothers.
