I am STOKED! Those three are some of my favorite performers. I have always heard how great Comic Relief was back in the day, now I'll be able to witness it myself!

"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

Comic Relief was really great and I'm looking forward to this new benefit. Those three really play off each other very well. You could just imagine them as youngsters growing up in the same neighborhood and being inseparable.

Where are we going, and why am I in this handbasket?

I'd be excited if it were Wanda Sykes, Chris Rock, and Howard Stern. Billy, Whoopi, and Robin are not funny.

I'm just relieved we have posts like this again instead of all the hardcore, vicious political and election-related stuff.

Don't stone me but I'm anxious to see if Andy comes back. I know that sounds rediculous but I am.

Who remembers the trio singing..

Robin Williams is dominating those promos...although he IS my favorite of the three...

You must remember all the same that at the crux of every game is knowing when it's time to leave the table... And it's important to be artful in your exit. No turning back, you must accept the con is done... It was a ball, it was a blast. And it's a shame it couldn't last. But every chapter has to end, you must agree.

The negative reactions here to these three is interesting to me. The fact is, when a list is made of effective and affecting comics through the years, these three are always in the top tier. And it's incredibly hard to argue with the good they have done with their fame.

I wish them all the best.

fflagg - with all due respect, they may not be funny to you (which is a completely subjective thing,) but obviously SOMEONE disagrees with you.

On separate occassions, they have each been responsible for some of the biggest laughs I've ever had.

But the bigger picture here is, they're giving their time to help others in need, and that I won't question.

I'm watching on TBS right now and I'm soo glad I found it while flipping through the channels. I've gotten to see D. L. Hugley, Dane Cook, Sarah Silverman, Lewis Black and a bunch of other really great comics that I've always liked.

God, I think if Jim Gaffigan were doing a set tonight I'd be good to go with my fav. comics.

well that was a substantial letdown.

It was doomed almost from the beginning. Less than 30 seconds after Ray Romano started i (alone in my dorm room) said outloud "Wow, he's really bombing." and it was sadly the fate that most of the other comedians faced. Lewis Black was about the only one that made me laugh. Oh and Louis C.K. that bag of dicks bit was hilarious.
