Hey Guys...You know how sometimes when you go to search for things, and you have already searched for it before then it automatically comes up in the search box...well...how do you get rid of that...it drives me nuts...say sometimes if i type in an "A" and I am searching for apple, but the last thing I typed in that was "A" was Annie Get Your Gun and so AGYG pops up in the search...I know there has to be a way to fix this somehow...please help if you can....thanks a million!!

Don't want the porn sites popping up, huh?
Like Broadway Bulldog said, highlight it and press the Delete key. But make sure you press the right delete key (the one that's under Insert and next to End). One time I did that, and I pressed the delete key near the keypad, and it wouldn't delete, so press the other one!

Actually, what I think Bernadette88 is asking is about the Auto Complete feature. If your using Internet Explorer you need to turn it off and here is how to do that:
1) Go intoTools
2) Internet Options
3) Personal Information
4) Auto Complete
5) Clear out the check marks
6) Click OK.
That should take care of the problem.
Hope that helps.

Always glad to help. Hope that fixes the problem. You do the same thing in reverse--as in put the check marks back in to turn that feature back on.
I find it quite helpful myself but what works for one may not be so great for another.![]()

It was just a little joke, Bernadette88.
