Hello,
i am Claudia, and i live in vienna/austria!
I even found this webside, cause i am allways looking for musicals all over the world, special in the states!
I can only say: WOW, THIS IS AN AMAZING WEBSIDE!! I love it!
I think i will come every day here to make a visit and looking about the news in the big world of musicals!
Here in vienna we had for many years great shows, like CATS (have seen the show 140 times!!!!!) PHANTOM, LEZ MIZ and many more!
I miss this shows!!
So, maybe i get in contact with some other musical-fans. I would be great!!

Welcome Claudia. People here get a lot of enjoyment out of bashing each other across the heads with their posts - but they don't mean anything by it. They're really enjoy bashing certain shows and they're particularly hard on anything written by Andrew Lloyd Webber. Just ignore them. The main board will tell you all about the shows in New York and elsewhere. This "off-topic" board is for everyone to talk about anything else they want.

pleasure to be able to go to the Opera, Symphony, and to see the wonderful
show " REBECCA " have you seen that? My Grandparents are from Austria,
maybe we are related !!!!!!!! Anyway enjoy - - enjoy - - enjoy, everyone here

Broadwayworld.com, it's main message board and it's off-topic message board can be very fun and informative places to visit and interact. I myself have certainly learned a great deal about theater, other culture, other Cultures, my own personality and even the penultimate comma while browsing around this webside. The posters here are just as nice and friendly as can be!
A word of warning, though, we get the occasional sock puppet.
Sometimes sock puppets turn up to liven up an otherwise boring evening, but more often than not it's an established poster looking for a forum to antagonize or terrorize another established poster while remaining somewhat anonymous. The first kind of sock puppet is far and away more fun than the second kind of sock puppet, but the second kind of sock puppet is more prevalent these days. There are always subtle clues. Keep an eye out for them.

I am suprised that i got so many answers in only one day.
Last night i have seen REBECCA!!! WOOOOOOW! this show is amazing!
The music, the acters, the costumes and and and.......
Since last night i can´t get out the music from my ears. I love this show!!!
If somebody comes to vienna, you must see REBECCA!!!

A friend sent me a CD of the original cast recording of "Rebecca"...even though I don't understand the words..the music is beautiful. He also sent me the cast recording of "The Three Musketeers"..also mesmerizing music...now I need to learn the language.
BTW....welcome to the nut house Claudia...enjoy.

I've actually heard some good things about that Rebecca in Vienna, Claudia.
Wonderwaiter--thanks for the overview of sock puppets. Claudia--they're my bete noire around here. You know how Don Quixote tilted at windmills? I tilt at sock puppets.

I'm not sure why, but I just adored that comment of yours! It's aways great to see someone enthusiastic about theatre. I hope to one day come visit your country.
