Campus Ladies - Sophomore Season

Don't even know if it's worth mentioning because I don't think it caught on here last year, but the least watched funniest show on T.V. has returned for its second season. The girls are back and more outrageous than ever! If you haven't seen it, you really owe it to yourself to check it out. There were only 10 episodes last season; this season they're doing 24. So they must be doing something right. Many more guest star appearances this season, as well. The first two episodes, which aired back-to-back tonight, featured Megan Mullally, Jason Alexander and Sean Hayes. Next week, it's Penny Marshall and Beverly D'Angelo. If you're not familiar with the show, the pilot episode from the first season can be seen in its entirety online. It's a really funny show. Much of it is improvised. These "pretty ladies" are HILARIOUS! Tuesday nights at 11PM on Oxygen (and repeated throughout the week)

I am so glad the ladies are back!!!! I hate the new opening sequence. I really prefered the other one with the rock music. I guess they are trying to give people backstory who might be tuning in.

Barrie is my favorite. She is a scream. All the insane things that come out of her mouth. I love when she gets all "lathered up" about something. Every week she seems to have a new fetish. The show has definitely gotten more explicit in it's dialogue and content this season.

I LOVE THE LADIES. I wish the first season was on DVD!!!!

Glad to see all the same faces back, especially Paige. My favorite quote of all time is "but you're ladies....you're ladies....you're ladies!!!"""

"Do you wear thong or full butt?"

Barrie: "Full butt.Definitely full butt. I have a full butt!"

I could quote Barrie all day.

I was happy to see Sean Hayes without a shirt on. It looks like he got bigger and buffer since Will and Grace ended.

Very funny show.

Props to AbFab and Strangers with Candy- 2 shows that Campus Ladies owe HEAVILY to.

I love Paige, the ever-annoyed roommate. "Tsk, you GUYS!"

i love it as well. last season's date rape episode was fantastic. "i can sing so high like mandy patinkin!"

I guess I'm the only one bothered by the fact that the central joke is that these women are so much older than the college students around them yet they consistantly cast actors who seem to be in their 30's as "College students."

Love this show--and Cheryl Hines is one of the producers!

When I was married, I watched alot of the episodes on the Oxygen OnDemand--now I just have to get cable for myself...

The way Barrie describes things makes me howl. I love when Joan got her thong attached to the chair.

My two faves are the late night study/rollin on e episode and the Spring Break episode--the mere sight of those two ladies coming out of the wrestling pit is priceless--and that tall blonde boy is a delight.

Best scene last night was Barrie and Joan being baptized. I love when Joan referenced her displeasure with the "god wand."

I just realized that this show hasn't been on. After doing a search, it looks like it's no longer on the schedule.

I thought they were a hoot.

The show was confirmed canceled by Amir Talai on a MySpace fan page. The comment said: "I regret to inform you that Campus Ladies has been canceled. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support. The show was the most fun I've ever had on a set, and I made some life-long friends there. Be on the lookout for the DVDs at some point. Lots of love to all the shows fans."
