Girly...are you working from home again today? I mean today is worse than yesterday. It was so windy this morning that I feared a tree getting in my way as I was driving to work. I hate then that happens. Trees don't yeild for anyone.

What's sad is that this generation doesn't really seem to have the appreciation for the older, classic musicals.

I remember when I saw the original productions of A CHORUS LINE, CHICAGO, ON THE TWENTIETH CENTURY, SWEENEY TODD, etc..., the older generation appreciating them BUT comparing them unfavorably to the shows they had seen in their youth (OKLAHOMA, SOUTH PACIFIC, MY FAIR LADY, etc...) The difference seems to be that we all appreciated those older shows as well as the newer ones, and still appreciate the current ones. Those children on the main board just don't seem to get it. Unless it's a shrieking diva ruining a classic musical. Or a non-dancer not showing up for her classic show.

lovely time last night. DD's better half gave me a tour of dt seattle and a lovely dinner. DD joined us for drinks later. Alas, my meeting started at 8 so it was not too late an evening. Big old hugs were given for shira and Q. Back to the conference.
