Dinner was an absolute success. Here's the menu, which I know Deet isn't interested in.

Arugula dressed with olive oil, lemon, parmesan, and toasted pine nuts

Lentil soup with cumin and a garnish of creme fraiche

Roast Chicken
Roast Zucchini, Eggplant, and Red/Green Peppers

Couscous spiced with cumin, cinnamon, and honey.

Homemade Whole Wheat Apple Cake with Mixed Berries.

I'm beat, Dad can do cleanup!

Good morning, guys!

On my way to work where we have no internet.
Construction in the neighborhood cut out Verizon line yesterday morning and as of last night it still wasn't repaired. Work without playtime bites.

Our internet goes out every frackin' afternoon at approximately 5:15. Usually when I'm in the middle of both a very important piece of work AND a good post...

Now if you want to talk about scaring the new intern - the development associate scared the crap out of her when the internet went down yesterday. Scared the crap out of me, too.

Ooh, that does suck! Maybe Verizon worked a miracle, and it's up and running today.

Yep. It was funny. He called and asked where I was, what was I doing. I said, "Um. Your kitchen putting half and half in the fridge." That made him happy. He didn't have to stop anywhere.

So Shira made dinner. Boobs is home. Shira is reflating her boobs. Girly is 1/2 and 1/2 but excited to have Boobs back in town. D2 is a terror to his new intern, but is trying to write. Mooney is without Internent entertainment while at work. Harris is doling out his lemonade. SOMMS worries about weeping Thai boys. And Taz, Tink and Shamey are along for coffee and conversation until a few more hours (at least for Tink and Shamey).

Is that close?
