Drink up, Shira's 24.

So, about the same as usual then. Drink up, Shira's 24.
Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be enbered with your old nonsense. ~ Emerson

Drink up, Shira's 24.

Good morning.

You're so right, Addy. So much forgotten in recent years. I taped GMA this morning to see the Hair performance, and normally I'd just go that part, but I'm watching the whole thing. Such a shame.

Morning kids.
I hung out with Cheyenne Jackson in his dressing room waayyyyyy before he tickled D2.

Drink up, Shira's 24.

Hey guys - back in my office and back to my own computer! Now I've been called to a meeting. Timing is everything....

Drink up, Shira's 24.

Aw, Moony! Come back and play later.

Drink up, Shira's 24.

I will, but I need to leave you a b-day gretting first! I do have my priorities, you know!
#1283

Drink up, Shira's 24.

I like your priorities.

I am very consciously choosing to ignore the inevitable MJ bashing. Thanks Addy for your thoughts, and I love what Namo said in the RIP thread.

Ultimately, the most succinct - and unfortuantely true -statement I've seen about this is, "A sad end to a sad life."

I'm going to remember the good, and let the rest fade to obscurity in my mind.
#1285

Drink up, Shira's 24.

Amen Q.

Namo was able to articulate exactly what I was feeling.

Shira, Happy Birthday again (because once is never enough).
#1286

Drink up, Shira's 24.

Shamey, welcome back! I hope you had an amazing time.

Q, I agree. Focus on the good...

Happy Friday to one and all.

I am too, Q. I stupidly clicked on one of them, and it made my blood boil. I need to find a gift for my sister-in-law's birthday which is Wednesday, so I'll be out and about today.

I read Namo's post in the wee hours this morning, and on that note shut down the computer and went to bed. Perfect.

Addy, your's and Namo's posts on MJ were very thought provoking. My first thought was, this tortured soul is finally at peace.

Thank you YWIW. I would say I don't like the attention, but that would be a lie.

I think what Namo wrote was brilliant.
Dottie, I agree that he is at peace. I just hope his children can find peace in their lives. It's going to be so difficult for them...

Is there a post by Deet that I'm not seeing?

Hi Addy! It's nice to be back! I had an excellent trip! I promise to fill you in soon.

Drink up, Shira's 24.

So, Shira - what big plans do you have for your day?
#1295

Drink up, Shira's 24.

Shames, I think we all need a 3 page email update.

Q, my birthday's simple. I'm working for my Mom all day and then I have lunch with her and dinner with my Dad. Tomorrow my friends are taking me out, and that should be pleasant!

Way to spread out your . . . celebration.

I would have taken better suggestions, you know.

Drink up, Shira's 24.

I'm surprised you didn't send out a memo, Shira.

Girly, was I supposed to have posted something?
Cheyenne Jackson tickled me. AFTER ordering SoMMS a drink but NOT tickling him, and hanging out with Girly in his dressing room (where he DIDN'T tickle her) but BEFORE we got married. To others. And then he tweeted Boobs. He also tweeted he's good friends with some chick on "The Voice" who just happens to be good friends with Tink's ex. And I'm still married. Oh, and this just in: "Pettiness, spite, malice ....Such ugly emotions... So sad." - After Eight, talking about MEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so honored! :-)
#1299

Drink up, Shira's 24.

Deet & Girly, I made a mistake in posting something, it's moot.

D2 - I'll make sure send one out next year!! (My friend just called me and confirmed that working for my mother is "lame". Not that the term is PC, but point taken.)

Drink up, Shira's 24.

*sigh*

Despite my best efforts to ignore certain things and/or not respond emotionally, I can't seem to help but get offended by some of the things people are willing to post on the internet (not necessarily just here on this board.) It speaks to a lack of humanity to me, and it makes me sad for them - and for us in general.

All right, I'll stop now.
