Sorry if that gave you a slight heart attack, D2. it's just that your full title seems so formal and rigid, Mr. 2. And I am running out of things to call you.
I'm also running out the door. Bye for now.
Aha, no, I'd love to go to Florida - I had a cousin living in MIami I never got to visit. She moved last month. And another cousin in Tampa.
But I'm in NYC. And I love the ocean.
What's wrong with Deet?

I am officially the King of faginess. YES, I teared up at an Osmond concert. I think it was one of the best concerts that I've ever attended. That family is really amazing. The harmonies give me goose bumps. The joking around between Marie and Donny is priceless. Marie looks wonderful. Donny, well you can only tell that he is getting old by his neck...the face is still that same sweet innocent boy..his eyes always seem to smile. The President of Singapore and his wife sat in the 1st row...Donny actually sang "The Twelfth of Never" to her. Talking about green with envy. Marie pulled a guy up on stage..she asked him if he watched "Dancing with the Stars" the poor guy looked at her confused..so she told him that it was his fault that she lost because he didn't call in. Very cute. Then she asked him if he ever played chug-a-lug and handed him a water..the guy said that they usually drink beer..which she laughed and reminded him that she's a Mormon. It's so nice how they have fun with the audience. Donny actually came into the audience as he sang "Hey Girl". Marie said that this will be their next to final performance as a family entertaining on stage. So sad. They showed old clips of them growing up, as the 4 eldest brothers started and then Donny joined in, then Marie and finally Jimmy..through out this segment they sang "Through the Years". That and them singing "He Ain't Heavy,He's my Brother" made me tear up. Marie explained that their 2 eldest brothers are both deaf and that they are always with them on the stage. Ok, I'm done. Will post some pictures I took in a second. Not the best, but you'll see what I saw tonight.
Aw, that sounds great. So glad you got to see them!
YAY pics!

I loved the Oprah show when she had the ENTIRE family on!
Happy Tuesday. Or, as a friend and I call it, Tony Tuesday.
We always loved getting tickets to an award-winning show for the first performance following the Tony Awards... We've had a good track record! Alas, this year my work schedule is keeping me chained to the office, so I can't make it to anything tonight. But, I do have tickets for Sunday...
Anyway, happy Tony Tuesday!
Hey Addy!
It's a real shame you have to miss In The Heights tonight.

It's back on, but we have to boil water on until Thursday. Despite my joke yesterday, I DID end up brushing my teeth with Evian this morning! The stores are completely out of regular bottled water.
Greetings everyone.
DeetSpray? Love it!
Hi all. I can't believe I'm sitting here watching Elvis Presley movies on TV. I've got to go through the DVD's. (I just watched Sweeney for about the 50th time. I love that film).
Addy - It was your praises that made me get a ticket for South Pacific in July. I'm REALLY looking forward to it now!
Happy Birthday, again, Mamiemimi.
BTW, I have a birthday-related MAME story for ya'll. I took myself to see THE VISIT for a 3rd time as a birthday gift on June 10. Afterwards, I stopped Jerry Lanning, who plays the doctor in the show and who played the older Patrick in the original production of MAME on Broadway. I told him that I had seen that production (when I was a mere infant, of course) and now I was here seeing him in THE VISIT oh so many years later. Well...
He started singing, "You're my best girl and nothing you do is wrong, I'm glad you belong to me." He sang the whole song to ME for my birthday. Isn't that adorable?
Merci my friend.
That sounds wonderful. That song always makes me cry - were you able to keep from crying?
