There are very few Garth songs that wouldn't make my favorites list.
I loved the Cher and Richie thing, too. Bon Jovi was my favorite band. He was my favorite part of the band. She was my favorite singer and actress. I freaked when they got together. lol
Amber, I used to go see him play at this place in town called Willy's. It's now The Starland Ballroom. The name of his group? Richie Sambora and Friends. I used to tell my peeps he was going to make it someday. They laughed at me. Should've bet money on that one. The band disappeared and I kept trying to find where they were playing. My friend called me up one day and said she found Richie. I was all, great, where, let's go. She had just bought the first Bon Jovi album.

Everyone else liked Jon, so I went for Richie. Then he and Cher got together and had matching jeans with chains and peace signs on them. Odd.
I'll never forget when MTV had the contest to give away Jon's childhood home. What a mess it was in town with all the fangirls and their moms clogging the roads.
The friend that found where Richie went to had always been a huge Cher fan from childhood, so we went to a few concerts of hers back when Cher and Richie were together. I liked Cher, and I know it was her show, but I wanted him to come out on stage more!
ETA: Jeez Shamey. Did you leave any of his songs OFF the list!

Brief greetings ... busy day ahead.
Hey DD!
All I can say for myself is that I must have been in the middle of my very short lived pretty boy phase. And I also think that I was jealous of his hair in 1986.
Richie just bought a penthouse in Philly, Girly. I know which building.
Oh and I was also madly in love with this guy.
I saw him recently on one of those "Where are they now?" specials. Sadly, the years have not been so kind.

There was a segment of 60 Minutes on Jon Bon Jovi this past Sunday. It was very well done, and he came across as a wonderful person.
Oh, no doubt. He's done a lot to help rebuild New Orleans.

He seemed so grounded, and appeared to be a great father.
And he looked REALLY good!
**fans self** Jon??? oh what that man's voice can do to me....
and his butt.... I had seats right on the side of the stage in 2003, and when he went to stand on the riser, his butt was literally at eye level with me....how I did not reach out and touch it (leather pants at one point and all) I will never know.
My friend Cindi did her student teaching at Sayreville High School and he was in her class.

What? No cake?
*thud*
Go get em, Harris!
Somms, really?! I wonder if I know this Cindi of yours!
Philly, huh? Hm. I've never stalked a rock star before. This could be fun.
I totally agree about Jon and all the help he's given people. I love when I read articles about him being a dad.
Aw, Somms and Harris. So sweet.

Okay, Kids, I need some quick advice. This guy that I play volleyball with just asked me out to dinner. He's a nice, funny guy and I like his as a friend, but he's a little too old for me and I'm not at all attracted to him. And there is zero chance of me ever being attracted to him.
Do I say yes to dinner and then give him the friends speech at dinner or tell him right now that he has no chance at anything but my friendship?
See, normally, I would just say no to dinner, but he is a nice guy and I am going to have to keep seeing him at volleyball.
Off to my conference. See you kids on Friday!
Well, that was not at all helpful!
