It's like the Bat Signal
I'm such a softie. I totally caved when I got to the appt today. The dress is beautiful (but still not worth what she paid but that is besides the point) and she looked beautiful in it.
awwww D2, you are so good to us.
Well, if nothing else, my priorities are straight.
Straight? Really?
Ok. So I apparently have to buy a nice suit for this awards ceremony. When in the world will I need a suit again?
If i ever get married?
My priorities, DD, not me.
Tink, that would call for a tux!
Well ... if/when we get married, it's gonna be on the beach and barefoot, so not for my wedding.
And for tink's - tux definitely in order. And I'm not getting one for this event, even though some people apparently to go black tie.
Chris and I were BSing the other day, and he asked if I would need to add 2 - 3 more tables to the seating chart just for BWW peeps.
So now the obsessing begins - what type of suit, price, color ... for one night. I hope to find something I can wear separately as well, since that's what I'm more likely to do.
dd
ya could wear it to opening nights
or if you get cast in show where u need a suit
craziest thing ever - but when you are in a pinch and don't want to spend alot - Walmart actually has some nice suits. It's Mix & Match. I picked Chris up a sport jacket there once, and it gets more compliments than the expensive one he got at Sears.
Hm ... might actually look into something like that. I just don't see how I can spend a lot of money on a suit that will get 0 mileage.
harris - this is Seattle. No one dresses up, not even for opening nights. Sometimes for business meetings, but not in the business I'm in.
DD, you would be so hot in that!
he he he Thanks!
I want to do something different if I'm gonna do it.
Let me qualify that I know nothing about formal wear.
Next time I'm in Seattle we'll go formal wear shopping.
Will you be here before Aug 7?
