Probably not. I got so caught up in the wedding plans that I totally missed that you need the suit for the Awards Ceremony.
Damn.
DD, try the Mens Warehouse. There are ten in Seattle. The one downtown is at 4th and Union. Pretty decent prices, and that store also does tux's.
^^SOMMS has a good suggestion, DD^^
Thanks sommsy! There's one downtown Bellevue, which is easier access for me during the day than Seattle. Will have to head down there soon.
I saw that one on the web site but wasn't sure where you were.
I don't know why I don't think of them ... and as scary as it might be, I will check Lifelong's thrift store, they get a lot of estate stuff, and some of the clothes they get are very nice.
I've found some great sportcoats at thrift stores. You'd never know that I was once the Mens Clothing buyer for Saks Fifth Avenue the way I shop now.

ugh i hate rain
When did you leave Saks, SOMMS? I wonder if it coincides with my stopping shopping there?
I was there early to mid eighties. You still had hair.
I was in high school ... *ducks*
I'm so not sure about some of those suits - been looking online. Not sure if I can get away with jacket + pants that are not part of a suit.
That's pretty much when I was shopping there. I stopped around '90, when the men's clothes just got way too expensive and, shall we say, not suitable for my body type.
wedding plans? No wedding plans, just mentioning the possible impending doom that may take place some day in the future.
Who am I kidding? After his sister's wedding I'll be all mushy and think of nothing but planning a wedding.....until the next cute guy walks by and then I will snap back to reality!
I still own the most amazing Armani suit (size 39 long) from that era. The fabric is truly orgasmic. It cost me two weeks pay even with my discount.
I know - I had a fabulous Armani suit that I was able to wear for nearly a decade. And then I got fat.
"not suitable for my body type"
I hear ya!
tink - I feel your pain. Thankfully, jS feels it too.
marriage/smarriage ... I ain't payin nobody no alimony.

...almost as many as the exes you'd have to pay.
*really runs now*
you move pretty fast for a bald, fat guy. MWAH!
