Girly: That's how I would install an air conditioner, but living on the 16th floor I can't really just hope for the best, if you know what I mean.

Cheyenne Jackson tickled me. AFTER ordering SoMMS a drink but NOT tickling him, and hanging out with Girly in his dressing room (where he DIDN'T tickle her) but BEFORE we got married. To others. And then he tweeted Boobs. He also tweeted he's good friends with some chick on "The Voice" who just happens to be good friends with Tink's ex. And I'm still married. Oh, and this just in: "Pettiness, spite, malice ....Such ugly emotions... So sad." - After Eight, talking about MEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so honored! :-)

morning!

Bachlorette party went ok, kinda low key. The rain held out so we had a beautiful dinner party at the restaurant with the skyline in perfect form. We went to a club afterwards but that only lasted about 20 minutes and then drama struck. We still managed to end the evening on a good note but damn.

I go and get my hair done today, woohoo, no more looking like a bum!

I hear ya, Deet. Mine would just fall one story into the side yard. Never again, though. No more installing air conditioners for me. Never ever. Had the darn thing in and out of the window three times, before I gave up and removed those fanny side sections completely. Then I had to conjure up something to fill the gaps between the window frame and the air conditioner. When I was moving the unit at one point, I wasn't thinking and grabbed it by the back. Have you ever seen the thin metal vents on the back? Three finger tips are now very thinly sliced, with what looks like a bunch of paper cuts on each tip, and kills everytime I touch something. Typing right now is painful. And you know those tape dispensers that have the built in cutter? The boney part at the base of my thumb is now sporting a lovely scrape. What a Sunday!!

Shira - I definitely can't complain I do have nice hair, but I can never get it to live up to its potential. But for the next 24 hours it will be. He taught me a few more tips that I will try and see if it helps.

btw - since when did you get a roomie?

Just had dinner, now all stuffed. ick.

Girly, I feel your pain. That's why I have our air conditioners stored for the winter and have the company reinstall them. We went looking for a new one for the living room today, and I think I'm going for a portable air conditioner for that room. It always bugs me that we lose a full quarter of the view during the prettiest part of the year. I found a beauty today, I think I'm going to order it tomorrow. Amana, 14,000 BTUs, high energy rating and no need to worry about the condensation - it self-evaporates!
