The best Thanksgiving Turkey I ever prepared was in Paris, Deet.
But then you'll be on clean-up crew!
I'm not in a welcoming holiday spirit today, Shira, or can't you tell?
And next year, everything will be catered. No one will lift a finger except to eat the meal. Clean up will also be handled by said caterer. No discussion. I have spoken.
And Shira, if you'd like to join us, then you pay.
Okay, fine. So I will.
Deet, just remember to forget everything Caldwell and I told you about "Phillipe" when you meet him.
Can I remember to give him Angela's phone number?
If we're lucky, they'll run off together and give you, me, HIS wife and HER husband peace!
Oi! That T-day sounds like a game night I once had. Remind me to tell you all sometime.
We had a delightful time, but we decided yesterday it's time we are fully surrounded by our friends so we are hosting Thanksgiving next year. All are welcome to ... wherever we happen to be living then.

I have yet to take the step of sending them out at all
Ooh, thank you for reminding me. I need to find my Christmas cards. They are down in the storage locker...somewhere.
Ah, I should get on my Hannukah cards. Oh well.
Had some lovely BBQ beef ribs tonight. And I'm just SO excited for my TV and Cable. I think it'll be good for me to be able to veg a bit.

Taking walks at the shore are good for that, as well.
True. But I'm not much of a "enjoy the scenery" walker. Unless it's somewhere new, or New York.

As opposed to 'enjoying the scenery' of television . . .
Yeah, yeah. You know what I mean.
By the way, has everyone received my Hanukkah list?
Shira, if you were a sports fan, I would invite you over tomorrow, but somehow I don't think a mix of college football and the Lakers would be up your alley.
I am still fighting the urge to get a flatscreen for my living room. It would require a new entertainment center, and I am not sure I want to deal with all of that right now (since everything is apparently connected and working right now).
Congrats on the pre-vegetative state.
Err, sports? Not my thing, but thank you for the invite.
Tomorrow is my only Saturday off from work, so I'm going to temple, which should be nice.
A couple of friends are coming over for Thai food and the games. You are welcome to join us, but I have a sneaking suspicion that is not your preferred viewing habit.
And Temple, on your day off, you are a far better person than I.
Well, I was invited to a lovely Shabbat lunch afterwards. And you can't just show up at food time. I gotta put in my good-Jew hours first.
A former friend's sister has sent me a friend request on FB. I saw her at my cousin's husband's wake the other day. I should've known that wouldn't be the last of her.

I think there's enough degrees of separation that you can hit "ignore".
I just spent 2 hours in the garage re-arranging stuff.
I tired.
If I get the new TV with a new Entertainment Center, the old one is going in the office, which means the wine fridge needs to go into the garage, which means I had to make room in the garage...
I got to destroy some crappy furniture left by the previous owners last night and it was cathartic.
Um, oy. Well, at least some good came of it!!
It was! Off to become a pincushion. Have fun today Shira.
