I'm not in a welcoming holiday spirit today, Shira, or can't you tell?

And next year, everything will be catered. No one will lift a finger except to eat the meal. Clean up will also be handled by said caterer. No discussion. I have spoken.

Oi! That T-day sounds like a game night I once had. Remind me to tell you all sometime.

We had a delightful time, but we decided yesterday it's time we are fully surrounded by our friends so we are hosting Thanksgiving next year. All are welcome to ... wherever we happen to be living then.

We have yet to take the step to send out joint Christmas cards.

Had some lovely BBQ beef ribs tonight. And I'm just SO excited for my TV and Cable. I think it'll be good for me to be able to veg a bit.

Shira, if you were a sports fan, I would invite you over tomorrow, but somehow I don't think a mix of college football and the Lakers would be up your alley.

I am still fighting the urge to get a flatscreen for my living room. It would require a new entertainment center, and I am not sure I want to deal with all of that right now (since everything is apparently connected and working right now).

If I get the new TV with a new Entertainment Center, the old one is going in the office, which means the wine fridge needs to go into the garage, which means I had to make room in the garage...

I got to destroy some crappy furniture left by the previous owners last night and it was cathartic.
