It's supposed to snow tomorrow, Boobs. Just sayin'.
lol, i have too much yarn too... and had to buy more yesterday. *hangs head* between yarn and books i'm gonna go broke! but yeah, sell them. i've been selling on etsy. www.midnghtdolphin.etsy.com the sad part is... i've made so many things lately... and not one for a gift. but it's nice to have some extra cash. so yeah.
Deet...I think I have the perfect yarn to make you a scarf...it would go with most of your wardrobe.
Middy, I order my yarn from here....great prices!!! They sometimes have Hotel sales and I go. I.MUST.STOP

Alright, I think I have my bases covered here.
After a smashing opening night, where he was resoundingly hailed as a success, the TinMan is off to two sold-out performances today (not bad for a 500 seater!) He'll spend his day getting creative hugs and tingles from appreciative fans.
I popped a bottle of bubbly with lunch, and thanks to a friend who happens to be an expert chocolatier, I have a stash of handmade truffles. And I have my favorite holiday CDs loaded on shuffle in the player.
Time to DECK THE HALLS! Literally, as one of my 'must do' accomplishments today is to get all the lighted garland hung on the bannisters and across the 'bridge' - all 50 feet of it!
Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. I'm enjoying mine

This is a publicity shot from the current production.
I'm trying to avoid the thought that the emotion he's drawing on when playing this scene is what it's like to live with me!
Although, the look and attitude ARE somewhat familiar

"proud" doesn't really cover what I'm feeling.
Relief is in there somewhere, and 'breathing room', as well - those rehearsals take place outside the home, after all
It really was wonderful to watch him get lauded - and handle it graciously like a pro, I might add.
Surprise, surprise.
There's a reason HE's the one doing this instead of me!

It's that half-British thing.

Pleasant evening, some singers better than others, but certainly all heart.

Married life can be . . . demanding.
Right now I'm enraged, but that could all be different in the morning.
*sigh*
You know that whole 'never go to bed angry' concept? I don't have enough time or energy. If the anger is still there in the morning, I'll deal with it. If it isn't, wasn't important anyway.
Right now it IS, and I'd rather stew in my own righteousness.
*ahem*
sometime i really hate this world
got a call froma friend in orlando a lil bit ago, a good buddy was victim of a hate crime tonight, and i swear i will hit anyone who makes a beef or cow joke
I'm so sorry Harris, that's truly awful. I hope your friend is okay.
Q - I never took you for righteous. Self-righteous, SURE. :-P
Q - I hear ya.
Harris, I would never make a beef or cow joke when you are truly in distress - I'm sorry to hear about your friend and I hope the perps are caught, he prosecutes and they get the book thrown at them.

Shira - save mine for when you see me.
I have now averted what could have been the major meltdown of the season - I couldn't find the eyehooks that attach to the bannister to hang the lighted garland from. They ended up being where I was SURE I had put them, I just didn't see them when I first looked.
Anyone who claims that being anal isn't that big a deal (or beneficial!) should be shot.
